Tecmo announced Zero 3 (Fatal Frame 3) for PlayStation 2, the 3rd installment of the popular horror adventure series. In this series you can not physically attack the spirits, your only weapon is a camera, which can take snapshots of the spirits and capture them; or use flashlight to drive them away.
In Zero 3, the stories take place between reality and nightmares, the protagonist is a 23 year old girl named Rei Kurosawa, whose found a picture of her dead boyfriend from a photo she took inside a haunted mansion. To investigate the truth, she entered the mansion. She soon discovered that snake tattoo begin to appear on her body, the patterns also appear in the evil sprits.
During the game, Rei will encounter the protagonists from Zero 1 and Zero 2 in her journey: Miku Hinasaki and Kei Amakura, they will also become playable characters afterward."
