Metroid Fusion and GameSpy...

GameSpy did a review of Metroid Fusion a while back... now, I'm not going to talk about the review, it's pretty accurate (except that the areas ARE pretty varied, or at least more so than they suggest)... but the screenshots they provide have me VERY curious.

People who have played Fusion:

First note that not a SINGLE SCREENSHOT can be reproduced within the game. Some graphics in the shots don't even EXIST in the game.

Then look at the HUD. Take extra note of the health guage, and look just left of the minimap.

WTF is going on here?

Metroid Fusion has changed a lot since it first debuted as "Metroid 4".

Those shots could be from the E3 demo or another early version of the game.

Somehow, I feel that a lot of MF ended up on the cutting room floor..

Why make new screenshots when old ones will do ? Most likely they're from a pre-release version.
