Just found out matrox licensed Cape Verdi from Amd - didnt expect that (hope its not old news to everyone)

Just found out matrox licensed Cape Verdi from Amd - didnt expect that (hope its not old news to everyone)

Matrox announced back in 2014 that they'd be using AMD GPUs on their cards from then on, not sure how many different models they released or all the GPUs they might have used. More recently in 2020 Matrox announced they'd start using NVIDIA GPUs, haven't followed how many products they've released but at least first one used GP107 IIRC
