Lossless Scaling. Frame Generation x20 😁 (2025 update) using AI and upscaling on ANY GPU!

Like I said these were map games, aka strategy games. Paradox titles and the Civ series. These aren’t hard to run so my frame rate was fairly hid it being a map game latency doesn’t really matter, it just looks not very good.
what is the base framerate?

Now that you mention it, I could try in Age of Mythology, which isnt' an easy game to run at a locked 60fps.

Regarding Civilization, I have Civilization VI to test on too.

The very few games I've tried on a 360Hz monitor, Resident Evil 2 Remake (be it at 40fps + FGx9, or 59fps + FGx6) and Ninja Gaiden Black 2 (40fps + FGx9, the game is a tough cookie to run at high base framerates) have performed really well.

I will say it again:
Posting handheld mobile video/pictures does not have the desired effect.
ideally I should find a way to capture a frame with all the overlays, the Rivatuner overlay and the little duck overlay, but I couldn't. The only game where it worked using the Snipping Tool (game bar and other utils won't capture the overlays, plus when you take the picture with the game bar interface the framerate drops) was Quake 2 RTX.

I just do a [ALT] + [PrtScr], it captures the game + overlays.
Just tried uploading a picture, but it say the PNG is too big :runaway:

Just adding this:
while I personally haven't tried nor seen DLLS 4, I am sure they are totally right. For someone like, with its virtues and flaws, LS is doing a heck of a job, trust me on this one. Playing a relatively demanding game like Ninja Gaiden 2 Black at 165 rock solid fps, or 360 solid fps is a sight to behold...., and with minimal artifacts.

If you have ever played Ninja Gaiden 2, the animation is really smooth and game's speed is quite high At 360fps it's an excellent experience.

Hope nVidia enables DLSS 4 via drivers, to use on all games -even if they add a cautionary "it might not work like in game with DLSS 4 native support".

I'm quite interested because aside from Celestial and Druid -the future Intel GPUs-, I am very excited about the RTX 5060 and see how it performs, the power consumption, etc.

I just do a [ALT] + [PrtScr], it captures the game + overlays.

thanks! I am going to try that. I usually press FN key + PrtScr, or Windows logo key + Shift + S.

played Rocket League. No artifacts. 59fps base + FG x 6. Captured using FN + PrtScr.

I enabled/disabled LS during the gameplay.

At base 59fps and using the Ball Cam the difference between 59fps and 354fps isn't that huge, you are usually seeing what's happening with a frontal camera.

But once you enable the free camera and start looking for the ball the differences in smoothness are really notorious.

If you start driving in circles for instance, at 59fps the Rocket League billboards around the stadium are illegible.

At 354fps when you start driving in circles you can clearly see the words "Rocket League" in the billboards.

This is NOT a Ridunkulous Screenshots thread! There's no need for full-screen multi-megabyte lossless captures here. If you want to bring attention to something like artefacting and JPEGs are damaging the data, cut out the relevant part.

I've spoilered your images to save BW on mobile connections.

Also Cyan if you would have resaved them as jpegs at 95% quality they go from 3.23mb to 967k

85% = 501k
60% = 280k
thanks for the tip. Every little detail helps to keep the police of the arcade happy.😁🙂

The Witcher 3, the most glitchy game I've played to date.

The Witcher 3 with RT on, a total disaster. My CPU can't keep up, artefacts galore.

Even with RT off and a much better base performance, at 40 something fps The Witcher 3 is full of artefacts. Dunno why.

Replayed Bright Memory Infinite to see if I could play it at 350fps (50fps base FGx7), no issues, just as before.

Sounds like a local problem as I do not experience the same thing.
Sounds like you are pushing your hardware to hard, but blaming the software.
What are you settings and CPU + GPU load?

with this I think I am done with the testing, just want to play and complete a game I wanted to finish and that's it. Will add something only if it's relevant as Shifty would say or adds to the discussion.

Conclusion: for 7 dollars I'd really recommend this app. A lot of games work flawlessly -most of them for me-, others not so perfectly but fine enough. Others like the Witcher 3 are crappier. It works on almost anything.

It even antialiases your classic 2D games (or 2D games from modern software but based on old games like Contra Anniversary Collection and Castlevania Anniversary Collection) and make them run soooo much smoother.

It helps you take advantage of your 4K OLED 240Hz screen and any high refresh screen, and your own hardware.

You can't expect nVidia quality, of course, but it's also not the same to pay for a full fledged brand new GPU than paying for a 7 dollars app.

which hardware do you have if that's not asking much? Did you try TW3 with FG then? My CPU is a Ryzen 3700X, which is mediocre these days, and I have an ARC A770 16GB.

When RT is on, be it on performance or quality mode, the framerate is very slow, 33fps max. Decreasing the resolution changes nothing at all. The GPU is at 70%, 75% load -it's close to 3060Ti level when it comes to RT, not that bad-, but the CPU maxes out.

Once I set RT to off, things really improve. The framerate increases, but when using FG even at a typically solid base framerate that works really well with FG on many other games, the artifacts while not as bad are really easy to see. 🤔🤔💭

At least 60 if not more.
ah okay, then it just doesn't work with that kind of games for whatever reason. Have you tried with other games? I have a colleague who hasn't managed to get it working properly on a RTX 3050 8GB despite following all the good advice here.

I haven't tested with Age of Mythology yet. I also want to test it with Vampire Survivors, but I think that game runs at 360fps natively -gotta install MSi Afterburner for that, I am just using Rivatuner-.

This app has been working solidly for me. It's not perfect, sure... But for the games that I'm playing, except The Witcher 3, it's been good.

Currently I'm using odd multipliers, 51x7, 49x7, 45x8, 59x6, 40x9, 70x5 😅, havent tried 90x4, 120x3...

At the moment I am playing 95%+of my games at 360fps.

In 30 years of my life that I've been a gamer, from my first game The Need for Speed and Microsoft Golf for Windows 95, I've never played video games so well and felt so fulfilled.

Lived unique moments that will never come back like the transition from 2D to 3D, the arrival of GPU acceleration, that's unbeatable. But now I feel that this is like a pause -from which I am grateful- in a constant evolving tech, where you're ahead of the times.
