[Q] I interviewed Sony's Kutaragi. He said the goal of PSX3 was to change the computing paradigm. Cell, computing, while physically a distributed computing scheme, allows the free use of computational resources on the net. How would you judge such idea???

[Mr. Allard]Sounds very complex(laugh). Complex tasks require the power of software.Maybe XNA could help them. I would like to talk to him over the phone if he wants to talk about this.

... And the rest of stuff about how distributed processing sounds easy but never works in real world... A lot of interesting stuffs to read...

Ohh no, the two evils unite

I don't know why Sony wouldn't want XNA, it'll be like free Xbox2 and PC port.

But who knows, MS could sabotage PS3 XNA, and that might be a reason enough

On the other hand it would likely mean, perhaps, easier migration from PS3 -> Xbox2 as well.

This will never happen anyway so these are just empty words Jay Allard is giving us.

Exactly, when your on the top of the taller of two hills and build a bridge between them, the shit rolls down... not up.
