Is there any way to restore Windows 7 look, or some better visuals, to Win 8?

Rofl I've watched a Win 3.1 video and the buttons do have a small 3D effects, or the status bar in control panel. It's good at tiling windows too.
 
My choice in this case is reinstallation and using Win7, because I don't like performance and usability of 8 version at all.
