is the PS3 name oficially nailed?

Is sony planning to name the next playstation really PS3 / playstation3 or is that a wild guess/prototype name ?

what are the posibilities they will call it,
Sony Powerstation
Sony REVOLUTION
SONy Homestation2000 ?
or something else?

Whatever they end up calling it, and i really believe they will just call it Playstation 3, people will always call it Playstation 3. Or "The new playstation".

Apart from my granma who will call it the Gameboy.

I remember reading in EGM, I think in 1995, that Powerstation was one of the names under concideration for the original PS1


I think Playstation3 or Playstation HD (high def) would be fine.

my dad calls all video game systems nintendo systems . Then again when I was growingup and he had to go and buy me the games all i had was a nintendo and a sega master system and the master system didn't have many games . He had to wait online on a thursday morning at 6am so he could get me super mario 3 from toys r us for x mass .
