OK, in my googling of my old Dimension3D site for nostalgia reasons I came across one of my old articles on the Oak Warp5 being used as a reference in 2 patents. These patents are #6407736 and #6611264. They are both titled "Deferred scanline conversion architecture" and look to be the same patent. Anyway, they were both assigned to Interval Research Corporation of Palo Alto, CA. Which according to Wikipedia is a defunct company founded by Paul Allen & David Little. The actual inventor of the 2 patents was Matthew James Patrick Regan. In the patents he references a lot technology used by the Oak Warp 5. Anyway, I never heard of the company or their plans. So does anybody remember who this company was? Did they have any 3D graphics plans? Also, what do the these specific patents decribe in layman terms?
