Interesting OC issue (MBM x CPU-Z)

So I decided to overclock my rig a bit.
I set memory to 170Mhz.
Multiplier is default at 12.5x.

Cpu-z reported that cpu was at 2125Mhz (default for xp2600 is 2085).
Memory at 170 (340 ddr), timings are default.

Now comes the interesting part.
I have MBM 5.3.70 reporting cpu temp stable at 43C

I load CPU-Z. After a few minutes it'll report the diode temperaute at 100C!!! The alarm bell goes crazy!!! So I ignore the message, shutdown CPU-Z and MBM goes back to 43C.

Weird, heh?

Note: The same situation has just happened without overclocking.
 
CPU-Z makes the mobo monitors do weird things. For me the CFU fan goes to 0 for a second, but the fan is still going strong.
