Interesting Gaming History

Ok thats an interesting (dark) hidden history of video games
The initial history of Sega in the book the Rise and Fall of Sega is put into a much better perspective.

didn't know about this story. I had one of those when I was a kid, that I used to play when going on break. You were a monkey and you had to pick up some coconuts that fell from the sky. It was very addictive, and the screen fascinated people, 'cos you see the animations changing depending on your position, and that tint like thing covering the shape of the sprites -if that's the term-.

game watch aside, the original NES was a beautiful machine. Also interesting is that Bergsten played the Gameboy first, in all Europe, or that he invented the Nintendo Club, smart guy. Didn't know he is the only non Nintendo owned distributor in the world.
