Yes, Zero/FF. It is release in EU too. PS2 and Xbox.

EVERYONE PLEASE DO TRY THE GAME. ;) Japanese horror at its finest. :oops:
 
Watching the trailer reminds me of 2 Japanese movies "The Ring" and "Hypnosis".

Very Japanese style of horror.

BTW, I have also post a link to the trailer in one of the E3 SEGA/Tecmo thread.

to be honest, i thought Fatal Frame was a bit lame a far too short to care... it even came out at a discounted price here in the UK...
also, comparing Fatal Frame with Silent Hill 2 is just ridiculous, Silent Hill 2 (and more so, 3) are such better games it's not even funny...
 
IMHO, the adrenaline rush from FF is better! I want my scares to be boo in yer face direct! Not to mention that FF had lesser ammo and health-ups for you, forcing you to take your moves more carefully. Ghosts are random and well, tougher to take out than SH enemies. All coming together for a better mix of horror.

SH grainy atmosphere dont do it for me. The enemies are pretty weak slow and not much of a challenge. No sense of fear or death.

OF COURSE, SH had a much better thought out story, but as a plain horror game, i take Tecmo's effort anytime. :oops:
 
remind me again.... why did i just download a long prerendered scene from a game that tries to scare people unsuccessfully?
looks great, but what FMV doesnt look great....
also, why do u say it's the scariest game possible? during the whole duration of the video not once i saw anything that even begins to make me think it could be scary...
even silent hill 2 (let alone SH3) was scarier than this... hell, even silent hill1 :LOL:

FF and SH/RE are simply different, can't be compared directly.

Do you have it (FF) ? Or have you actually played it ?

I don't, I saw someone played it before.

The reason is because I don't think I can play that alone (Japanese style of horror is the scariest to me comparing to others).
 
Of course i did. The dubbing, translation and the story are very very standard passable, but the horror is supendiocious IMO! :oops:

considering that you have 3 versions of SC2, get FF! ;)
 
Damn, I thought first FF was not scary at all (compared to SH2), with it's plastic doll main character and cheesy camera hunting, but this one looks so much nicer, better designed... I think it will give SH3 a good run for it's money. It does remind me of 'Ring' a bit.

I have no idea what is wrong with that. Most Japanese games draw their character anime style so is the same with FF. Miku looks fine imo. Sure she is not as "real" looking as Heather, but she is fine.

Again, nothing wrong here. Ghosts caught on camera anyone? ;) Even so, the story does tell of whazzup with the camera later on and the combat is x10 more fun than hacking slowass monsters from RE or SH. :p

Maybe you are the type who gets freaked out by digusting stuffs(zombies, mutilated monsters and rotten environments), hence the preferance for SH or RE. But i love my ghosts and spooky environments. IMHO, FF is THE console scares game. :oops:


Finally hope year all played through the game rather than a short demo or something. This game is worth it for horror gamers. :oops:
 
Xbox port of part one was cool, Konami should learn a thing or two about porting from Tecmo.

Like what? Xbox port of FF was barely enhanced visually, and had some additional gameplay content. Pretty much the same deal Konami did with SH2...
