Actually, do you have any basis for this? Personally I'd assume that for exclusive launch titles on any platform there would be some hefty, if not entire funding, given that the userbase is not that big.

Well I think the question you should be asking is there any basis for the contrary? Is it being published by SCE? Has Sony ever fully funded Konami's MGS development in the past? MGS2 came out in a similar time frame as MGS4 likely will, did Sony fund that game as well?

Hey, if Sony is fitting the entire bill (or any bill) for MGS4 development thats great. I'd just presume evidence beyond assumption before stating such.

And the FUD comments would still be ridiculous nonsense in regards to this thread.
