I mean... WTF. Is online geek-speek going mainstream or something, or what's going on here? It would certainly seem that way, to some extent at least. These cheques are aimed at geeks, but this trend will certainly continue, and seep into more mainstream parts of society I think, like with smileys for example.

Ok, heheh... It's about some bank in japan (I believe) issuing manga or anime-inspired checks with the text mentioned in the topic (in ALL CAPS, which the board software did not allow), with the addition of "KATAMARI DO YOUR BEST ^_^"... Yes, it even has the smiley face printed on it.

The japanese are nuts.
