Harddrive grinding when idling: normal for Vista?

I don't know if the shortcut has changed for Vista, but run is the Windows key + r in XP. Still easier than waiting for the search to complete and clicking on the result, IMHO.
 
You guys finished yet? Who cares how you run a program - just do it the way YOU like it.

Wanna fight over how to most easily close a program also? Available choices are - but knowing microsoft probably not exclusive to: alt-F4 / file menu - exit / clicking X icon in right corner / system menu - close.

Come on now. Derail the thread some more, I want to see even more irrelevant bickering!
