One review said 17h for the extension... Could justify the price for my weak, weak mind wanting to buy it.

Ghost of Tsushima coming to PC may 2024. It will support DLSS, XeSS and FSR.

Those system requirements are utterly insane. Why would you need an RTX 4080 to play a PS4 port at 4K60?

Depends on which settings the PS4 matches. It was 1080p30 on PS4. So native 4K60 is probably 8x the rendering cost on its own.
And the RTX 4080 is what? 10x the power of the PS4's GPU? The game apparently runs at 4K checkerboard and 60fps on PS5. An RTX 4080 should be way overkill. Something like an RX 6800 should do the job.

With Playstation overlay, trophies, etc supported...

I wonder if this features will eventually be for a Playstation pc store

That depends on which PC preset is closest to PS5 settings right?

The requirements call for a 6800 for 4K 30 High. Seems reasonable if the PS5 is running 4K 60 w/ checkerboarding.

Isn't 4K 30 an easier workload than CB 4K 60? A 6800 should be almost 50% faster than the PS5 GPU. Requiring a 960 or 5500 XT for 720p/30 at very low is way off base for GPUs that are noticeably faster than PS4. The 5500XT in particular is on par with the RX 590. That's faster than a PS4 Pro.

Think DF said it was 1920x2160 @ 60. So same number of pixels/second as 4K @ 30. Lower CPU and geometry load @ 30 though.
CBR is not free, far from it. There are no tensor cores on PS4 Pro and PS5 to make CBR happen by magic. It costs more than 4K 30fps equivalent GPU rendering time.

SteamDB data shows that earlier on Friday, sales of the port of developer Sucker Punch's award-winning action title were halted in non-PSN countries in an update to its backend. Notably, this news comes after Sucker Punch publicly announced players would only need to link their Steam account to a PSN one for Ghosts of Tsushima's co-op multiplayer mode Legends, and also less than week before the PC release's scheduled May 16 launch.“

Unclear if this was initiated by Sony or by Valve but what a mess.

I think that further points to no-one at Sony thinking beyond the end of their noses regards PSN. "Put it on Steam. Oh, and require PSN - Steam users can just sign up."

Painful learning experience for them, and a huge embarrassment.
