DS looks to have a Gameboy name after all

For actually trying to create the "3rd Pillar" they were talking about, and not confusing the consumer to the relationship of their devices. Since they're not, though, they might as well carry the brand onward and upward.

What is the problem with naming it gameboy. IT is actually a gameboy .

I personaly though it would just be gbds gameboy dual screen system.

Makes alot of sense and while it will be a 3rd pillar most likely being the last gameboy in line with the old ones. Thus giving them an upgrade path it wouldn't take away from the almighty Game boy 2 name

I have no problem with them calling it that at this point, and that's why I expect them to; I can no longer see reason not to.

What I wanted was a clearer differentiation--by name and technically--if they were going to be more serious as to pushing the DS's features for its own games. There'd still be plenty of ability to link to both the GBA and GC (though cable or wirelessly), but I feel the creative push for the DS own games will be diluted if it's associated too closely to the GBA during its formative stages.

DGB - Dual Game Boy
EGB - Extreme Game Boy
GBD - Game Boy Double
GBE - Game Boy Evolution
GBN - Game Boy New
GBY - Game Boy Yahoo
TGB - Tile Game Boy??
WGB - Wonderfull Game Boy
XGB - Xenon Game Boy

I like Wonderfull Game Boy.
