just out of curiousity, I remember using my DC a lot to watch PC burned Divx movies, does the XBox or PS2 have this support yet?

Yes, there are DiVx players for Xbox and PS2. You can even buy the software for PS2 that allows you to access all the media files on your PC, stream them from there and decode and display on PS2.
