What's the main difference between the following:

asus a8n sli, premium, dlx, sli32 and x16?

Asus's website doesn't compare the differences.

From Asus USA website (short summary);

A8N-SLI
-Supports AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64FX/Athlon 64
- NVIDIA nForce4 SLI
- PCI Express Architecture
- SATA 3Gb/s
- NV RAID
- AI NET2
- NV Firewall
- AI NOS™
- AI Audio (8-channel Audio)

Regular board.

A8N-SLI Deluxe
-Supports AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64FX/Athlon 64
- NVIDIA nForce4 SLI
- PCI Express Architecture
- SATA 3Gb/s
- Dual RAID
- Dual Gigabit LAN & AI NET2
- NV Firewall
- AI NOS™
- AI Audio (8-channel Audio)

+ SATA&IDE RAID and dual NIC

A8N-SLI Premium
- Supports AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64FX/Athlon 64
- AI Cool-Pipe
- AI Selector
- AMD Cool 'n' Quiet! Technology
- nVIDIA NFORCE4 SLI MCP
- PCI Express Architecture
- SATA 3Gb/s

Deluxe board with heatpipe cooling of chipset (and voltageregulators I think). And you don't have to flip switches or use a custom pcb to change between SLI mode and dual PCIe slots, it can be done from windows.

A8N32-SLI Deluxe
AMD Socket 939 Athlon 64 FX/Athlon 64 X2/Athlon 64/Sempron
True Dual X16 SLI
8 Phase Power Design
Fanless Design - Heat Pipe & Stack Cool 2
Optional FAN for Water-cooling
64-bit CPU support
External Serial ATA 3.0Gb/s port

Revamped Deluxe board with 8 phase power  and has improved for better/easier tweaking. Two chipsets which enables dual 16 lanes PCIe. Heatpipe cooling for both chipsets.

EDIT: All boards except A8N32-SLI Deluxe use fewer lanes in the SLI mode, they share 16 I think so it's probably 2x8 lanes.
