Current and cards dx9 shader precision

Just wondered
back in the day ati cards did 24bit precision while nv did 16 or 32bit
are current amd cards still limited to 24bit in dx9 ?

I guessed as much So if you played hl2 (a dx9 game) with a recent amd card it would use 32bit precision

ATi ditched the FP24 format with the Radeon X1000 Series for good, while NV kept the half-precision bits right until the first generation of DX10 GPUs.

Everything now is FP32 from top to bottom. Well, NV still retains lower precision math in its Tegra SoC graphics.
