CompUSA 160GB Maxtor for $99 after rebate

FYI, you probably all know this, but CompUSA has the Maxtor 160GB 7200rpm 8mb Cache drive for $169 with a $70 mail in rebate. The drive is retail (although only 1 year warrenty) and comes with an ATA-133 PCI card (not using this).

I installed it and it's working like a charm. It actually benches slightly faster than my other WD120JB drive using SiSoft Sandra.

It seems like HD prices are in a free-fall these days. I can hardly believe have 280GB of storage now on my 3.06.
 
I think im done buying harddrives until i get a SATA motherboard, when shuttle realeases their next gen small form factor pc in a few months time. At that point ill get SATA hard drives. :)
