So the App Store has launched for OS/X and I've been using it for a bit. I have to say, I'm rather impressed. They did a really fine job here. The Apps install way easier than normal applications you can download and install from the web, and they work great too.
You can really see where Mac is going with this on OS/X and with Lion, and I think they're about to make one of their biggest leaps forward since they went OS/X in terms of user interaction. Very good stuff. Hopefully they catch up with the iPhone on some of the things currently still lacking, like Game Center on Mac. Really good stuff, and just like AutoLog I genuinely hope the idea is stolen on as many other platforms as possible.
