Just thinking out loud tho, the power requirements on that thing would be impressive. The power requirements on the ATI parts increase by roughly 90% adding 25% core and 50% memory and 256mb ram(XL specs to XT specs). This upgrade would be slighly more than that %wise for the GTX. So... 150 watts or so?

I didn't see any mention of the clock speeds. I think this is pretty hard to believe that they would have 900Mhz ram. Thats some fast stuff. I wonder what kindof heat it displaces.

Well the wattage of the vanilla 7800GTX 256MB was already close to the 1800XT 512MB. This thing is gonna be a toaster. But it should be fast as hell if they pull those numbers off. Then again it's the Inquirer.net so I dont place too much stock in their articles. It does seem like though that the memory will be at least as fast as the 1800XT memory.
