Okay I'm going to start posting the 1Up podcast here on B3D every week being that it's the absoulte best videogame podcast in the world. Here's a brief description of what this week's show is about.

It's the end of a long and rather frustrating week here at 1UP, and now it's time for a little venting. The boys discuss what they've been playing, including Prey, Guitar Hero 2, Loco Roco, and of course, Psychonauts. Inspired by a post on our boards, the crew also tackles the rising cost of gaming, and if you think about history, it's not as bad as it's been (or could be). We also talk about more ridiculous Sony quotes, Luke versus public relations, and we finally announce the winner of our music contest.

this is my opinion after I've listend to it a few times:
1up webcast feels like I am reading an average gaming forum. I don't care about random comments and how strangers feel that do not come out as professional. I rather listen to professional sites' webcasts and articles like Next-Gen.biz and gameindustry.biz.

I've listened to that podcast in the past, and found it can have be pretty hilarious. Due to the fact that those guys are usually under various embargos, it's not the place to go for truly "insider" information.

gamingsteve does a better at job at that - even if he comes across as rather boring sometimes.

Highly unprofessional podcast which should be rated "M" for profuse profanity and numerous homophobic comments. Designed to appeal to a socially atrophied 14 year old demographic that would actually find their numerous references to luke as gay remotely amusing. 1up yours podcast sucks.
