Hmmm, that IBM looks frickin' awesome for that price with its dual inputs, but Grade B is (potentially more-than-slightly) off-putting:

link[/url]]Grade B: Monitor has similar reliability and functionality as Grade A product, however it will have small to moderate screen blemishing. Allowed blemishes are hair like scratches on the anti glare picture tube coating, or very slight, barely noticeable screen shadowing (permanent image on the screen left by static desktop image). We always make sure that blemishes allowed on our Grade B stock are very minor and do not impair functionality of the product. Grade B displays are excellent cost effective solution for computer gaming, DVD viewing as well as word processing, e-mailing and other general use.

Grade "B" means that the case may have More major costmetic issues like the case may have larger dents, scratchs, major Yellowing, ect. Or there may be some minor problems to the screen like minor antiglare coating scratch, very minor burn, ect.

Yes, unfortunatly, thats my issue as well. Thanks for the lookout though Dr. :)

If you've not got anything you need for high-res testing, monitor wise, by the end of Jan 2005, I'll sort something out for you ;)

From the site:
Shipping costs/Policies
At this time, we are only able to offer shipping to the lower 48 states of America and some of the Canadian Provinces. We can arrange shipping to some zip codes in Alaska and Hawaii at an additional cost to the customer. Currently our carrier limits shipping to Alaska and Hawaii to certain zip codes, and restricts the dimensions and weight of the package. Only certain items from our site qualify for shipping to Alaska and Hawaii.

Can you ship outside the United States?
Yes. AzaTek.com will ship to any country upon payment agreement and currier availability.
If you're really interrested you should send them a mail.
And the B grade issue, is not a big problem since all you needed, IIRC, was a "second" screen supporting high resolutions, even with minor IQ issues, to do high rez framerate tests with the new cards.
And, seriously, for 85$, that's a steal... The shipment might cost almost as much, though.

I picked up a couple of 17" flat-screen CRT trinitrons at a PC show for $50us and love 'em, 'cept one of them has the "Windows 95" with the big horking flag logo burnt into the monitor a bit. :?

My wife got the good one, I got the burnt one. It doesn't annoy unless I notice it, then it's annoying as all get out and I can't ignore it. :(

If "grade B" means that, I ain't interested.

Yep, if, and only if, you use it as your primary device. If, on the other hand, you use the screen, like dave would use it, for high resolution tests only, the IQ problems are not really important, IMO.

All,

My boss just got a GradeB $85 21" in and it is great! Not a single problem I can see. I need to do some more research on what rez and refresh I want to hit but I will be getting a $85~$200 monitor from there THAT'S for sure! =)
