As a PAL-market resident I've learned over the years not to take anything for granted, or to expect anything. There have been HDTVs on sale here for ages. I don't think PAL games need to support PAL progressive scan. NTSC pro scan does the job just fine. I'm not concerned with Sony either...

It might be a cop out, but I was elated at seeing the real-time footage of the Madden 360 demo, as well as the footage from the Sega demos. :shock: As for full-on, legit games - Zelda. Can't let this post finish without mentioning the MGS4 trailer though. Brilliant. :lol:

TTT on PS2 has nicer character models, but the backgrounds in T5 are superior I believe. Artistically speaking T5 is probably my favourite looking 3D fighter. Namco just hit a sweet spot with it.

I agree. I just watched the video and I'm extremely impressed with what they've done. The water effect is pretty damn funky. Best water effect I've seen on PS2. Baldurs Gate Dark Alliance, take a step back!

That about sums up my thoughts on the matter as well. I absolutely adore AC5. There's something special about flying in the cockpit view combined with the great graphics. :shock:

I'm approaching the next gen with somewhat understated expectations. That way I'm open to some nice surprises.

I've been playing it the last couple of days, and I absolutely adore it.

There's quite a number of people around the web who are surprised with the Half-Life 2 mention here as a Xenon launch title. I've been under the assumption for a while now that it is going to be a Xenon title. Plus I wouldn't like to see how Half-Life 2 looks/runs on Xbox anyhow. :P
