I use Tridef 3D drivers for the Oculus Rift, and when I had 14.1 beta installed, launching Dx games in Tridef would result in a "this game does not support dx 9, 10, 11" or something error. I went back to to 13.12 beta because I hardly play BF4 anyway. Edit: this is with a R9 -290 on Win7 64bit.

In case anyone else get the "options" menu (in BF4) lockup/crash, try disabling integrated graphics in Windows device manager. Worked for me, someone else at the BF4 forum figured this one out.

I can't even try it out. Every time I hit "options" in the menu the game just locks up. Whether from the main menu or in game, it just freezes and I have to ctrl-alt-del to back to desktop. Then see an error message that BF4 has stopped. I've had the game for a while but haven't really played it...
