Good to hear that mega-threads are not the way when going forward. I'm in favor of closing the current thread.

First time for GPU drivers but Razer did this with their mouse drivers few years back. You can imagine my amusement when I couldn't install mouse drivers because Razer's server was down... For my next mouse the only actual requirement was "not Razer".

This is interesting. I wonder why they do this as now everyone, including their competitors can get the source code? I would have thought that if your main income source is a game engine, you try to keep the secrets of that engine as hidden as possible. Are they targeting Unity with this change?
