I can't be the only person who enjoyed the volleyball engine. Seriously, DOAXBV was actually a breath of fresh air - a cute, fun game that brought me back again and again.
And yes, I had a number of real girlfriends during this time. :p
My Gamertag is KolgarX.
Couldn't recover my old "Kolgar" tag because I'd cancelled the account in 2005. Microsoft rep says, "I don't know what to tell you, I didn't build it." Thanks, pal.
Other than that, I'm enjoying my new X360 which I bought last Saturday. FNR3 is great, and Project...
Update: I've jumped in!
Bought my 360 last Saturday. Had already purchased Fight Night Round 3 in anticipation, and today I scored PGR3 at ShopKo (of all places) for $25.72!
Looking forward mostly to Gears of War, Mass Effect, Lost Planet, and Forza 2... and if Rare announced a next-gen...
I've gone ahead and ordered the Samsung HL-S6187W.

This one just hit the right price/performance ratio for me, so I've jumped in. Hoping it's not too much TV for me; I guess we'll find out soon enough!
Thanks, everyone, for taking...
Plasmas look nice, but I do a lot of gaming and would like to use the PC on my new set, so I'm leery of burn-in.
I may hold off for a bit - at least until football season starts - just to make sure I'm doing the right thing. But I appreciate the resonses - I feel much better about buying a...
I'm about to purchase my first HDTV, one of the new 1080p Samsung DLPs. How long can I reasonably expect this set to last?
If a bulb or color wheel dies five years from now, will I be able to get a replacement? How are you earlier adopters of HDTV technology faring?
I know the rest of the...
Yes, they may be right. In which case, kudos may be in order.
But if Blu-Ray's impact on games proves minimal and PS3's higher cost slows adoption rates to the point where Sony loses some of its third-party support and exclusives (timed or otherwise, see GTA4) - then the company's gambit to...
We haven't seen any proof yet that DVDs are insufficient for next-gen games. When it happens, then it may "suck." Until it happens and multiplatform releases on 360 become gimped because of it, there's no problem with the format.
In fact, it's what's allowing MS to make 360 the ONLY...
Of course, most of this discussion is assuming Sony's focus is still on games, that PS3 is primarily competing with XBox 360 for the games market and not Toshiba for the HD movies market.
I think it's arguable that Sony's bigger agenda is winning the format war with Blu-Ray. Should that...
