I think Prime (3D) was a good addition to the Metroid franchise but I can't consider Prime as a replacement for the whole original side-scrolling concept of Metroid. I can't imagine a side-scrolling metroid and 3D metroid competing in the same consumer base, they would be so different. So why...
They are just about to release Super Paper Mario. They may be more open minded toward side-scrollers these days. I think it might be mostly due to the success of the New Super Mario Bros.
Ever wanted Metroid to return to the big screen in side-scroller form? I created a petition to do just that, cast your vote here:

And let your friends know too, okay?
I'm looking for a quality controller for PS2 that is wireless, has a small receiver (no larger than a memory card sticking out) and works on (rechargable) batteries. What product should I be looking for?
I'm looking for a usenet downloader for some serious photo downloading. I want to be able to filter images by resolution, size and maybe even exclude by keyword and stuff like that. The more options the better. What's your favourite client?
I'm also thinking about buying the Wii at the 100-150€ price range. Altho the only title that I'm currently interested in is Mario Kart Online that may be released around 2008 so I'm sure the price is right by then. Sequel for Pikmin would be nice too. Gamecube compatibility is another big thing...
I found some looping videos and I want to use them as a screen saver. I figure there must be a program that can convert a launch command or a script into a screen saver file. The problem is I can't find any, all "make your own screensaver" progs that I could find seem to be slideshow based. Any...
Seems like more and more stores are ready to launch the Wii (I've been following the news photos at maxconsole) plus this story at maxconsole: http://www.maxconsole.net/?mode=news&newsid=10781 Could it be that Nintendo is the mastermind behind this and would actually launch 3 weeks ahead of...
I've been using ADCSee (3.1 mostly and I've tested all the later versions) but I'm not pleased with any of them. They just can't properly enlarge an image to fit the screen because they do it without filtering. I've lost any hope of actually seeing a version of ACDSee that would have this fixed...
Would it be possible to make two "virtual" computers from one physical computer using 2x keyboard & mouse and a graphics card with two outputs? Maybe Vista would support two simultaneous logins?
I'm looking for a hard drive encrypter (for windows xp) that would encrypt whole hard drives (250-750GB, single partition) and not just some 50GB containers. I imagine a simple one would just allow you to encrypt a disk even if its already full and would only ask for password when accessing...
