don't get me wrong, sure the RSX shares a lot of G7x technology, but I don't see it "just a tweaked G70"...only that....however let's wait and see....it's only my opinion...

you didn't get my point :) ...or...you were so near in the first line... ...Sony would never release their console with a tweaked one year old PC GPU, that's my opinion, and I don't see them releasing a PS3 equal in power to a MS console, released months ago...the only way I see Sony releasing...

sure I'm not expecting a modified G80, and sure I'm not expecting a modified G70, it's simple ! Knowing Sony, they will never release PS3 with a customized one year old PC GPU, they would never ! The RSX will be a different GPU, sharing similarities with the G70, but it doesn't mean it will...

all this time for a tweaked, slightly beefed up G70 ???? are you kidding right ? :) a PS3 equipped with a tweaked G70 would have been released at the same time X360 was released ! ...don't joke people....

it's only my opinion, but I'm sure the RSX won't be only a customized G70...sure it shares similarities, but it will be a totally new GPU, much MUCH more powerful than a G70 ! Sony/Nvidia would never release just a customized version of a 1 year old GPU(when PS3 will be released) they would...

Sony/nvidia could have conceived the RSX in the way I've just seen in the picture above... ...similar to the Cell...let's wait and see...

there's a lot of talk about RSX being a multi core GPU...now I can't wait till jenuary the 5th :) just hope to know everything...
