xbox one devkit on ebay - remember that?

Remember the hacker that tried to sell an xbox one (durango) devkit on ebay?

Turns out it wasn't legit after all, despite being confirmed as such by various sources at the time.

He hacked MS and built 1 (or 2) machines to spec and installed the OS he also stole from MS.

Pretty sneaky, what was the guys online user nickname again? (Edit: SuperDaE, found in another story - seems he had very little to do with it anyway for all his bluster at the time)

I don't know why but the word "stoners" just popped into my head. Unrelated to anything in this thread, naturally :yep2:

Lawyer will say they were arrested just because they wanted to make homebrew games.

Stephen Totilo reported that as well as having tried to help sell copies of the Xbox One kit, the Perth-based man - who used the nickname SuperDae - had also claimed to have played pre-release versions of Sleeping Dogs 2 and Homefront 2.

The man is reported to have added that he had searched for Half Life 3 on Valve's servers, but had not managed to find anything.

Most important part of entire article bolded

File under "ya dont say"
