Wireless headphones for guitar?

Ok, after the big response the comfortably numb solo got, I know this forum has a plethera of musicians, so I'm posting here, rather than 'purchase decision help'.

I'm looking for some wireless headphones that are decent enough to use when playing guitar.

The tethered guitar is OK, as it the jack/cord doesn't get in my way, but headphone cords just seem to get wrapped around my arm and hang over the guitar itself.

I'd like something digital, but I'm concerned about latency, compression quality, decompression quality, and then headphone quality.

I like the form factor of my sony Fontopia earbuds, but I'd be willing to use over ear headphones, especially since earbuds probably are going to have wires going to a clip of some sort.

I like this formfactor: http://www.motorola.com/motoinfo/product/details.jsp?globalObjectId=177 but I'm a bit concerned about the ear buds themselves.

Something like this might also be cool (http://www.mobile-review.com/review/motorola-s705-en.shtml), but again, I'm left wondering about compression/decompression and latency issues.

Anyways, suggestions? (Including the 'forget headphones, crank it to 11', which is my current modus operandi)

Well, there's these also: http://www.musiciansfriend.com/prod...0-Wireless-Personal-Monitor-System?sku=270237, but GACK! the price is much too much.

Eh, um, eh, argh, say, huh?

Not sure about latency, generally wireless headphones sound like crap (and your choices solidify sound quality is a far second to wireless). I've heard decent things about Sennheiser's over the head wireless system. Take a look here. Might want to check into the RS 140 too at the same site, about double the price but its a sealed can and depending on your needs that could be beneficial.

i agree with SR on this one. I've never heard anything good about affordable wireless headphones other than this pair. Good luck!

I just put my phones on "from behind" so the cables are running behind my back. I have cabled Sennheisers very much like the Motorolas you posted above, works fine for me.
