"Which was nice" -- what is the meaning of this ph

i've been visiting beyond3d for awhile now and one thing that has always driven me crazy is the headline "which was nice" at the top browser bar. wtf does that mean?! i can't figure it out. it always feels like some geek joke that i'm missing out on (you know, like "all your base are belong to us", or something). i have a feeling there is an extremely un-funny nerd anecdote behind it involving chickens and the artist formerly known as prince.

i know i'm stupid for even caring, but for whatever reason I MUST KNOW THE ANSWER TO THIS MYSTERY. someone please tell me, or at least lie convincingly.
