When Do You Think We'll See These Sort Of Dynamics In Realtime?

The following is a canned demo of the Nokia title "One - Who's Next?" from 2006, I want you to forget about the graphics at this time and concentrate on the animation, collision detection, physics, camera work and sound effects.

Far far in excess of anything currently seen in titles such as Virtua Fighter 5, Tekken 6 etc...

It may even be too much for the PS4/XB720 generation and we may have to wait for the generation after that to see what was on display in that video in realtime.

What do you think?

Probably when the next Sega arcade board comes out...
Did you like the answer?

edit:
I think he's back again  As far as I can see only Texan* and gary used capital letters continously for the first letter of every word on thread titles + this thread and the guy just gives my spider sense major Texan vibes. I probably should find something else to do

You can see these kind of well animated fist fights in Uncharted 2 - been hoping for a fighting game with U2's fighting animations =D

What Are You Talking About?

That Seems Like Perfectly Reasonable Behavior. Now, what if SEGA had bought 3dfx instead of NVidia? Could Naomi have supported Pixel Shader 3.0 in 2003? Would they have beaten Sony?

Are you fricking kidding me these graphics don't even come close to the heels on Virtua Fighter 3 and that was on a first version Model 3 board with a 66Mhz PPC CPU!!

PS and please try to defend the Dreamcast version of VF3
