Jon Peddie has put out his AIB report for Q4:
http://www.jonpeddie.com/special/AIBReport.shtml

42.7% decline in units, 43.8% decline in revenue. Ouch!

Apparently PC sales were only 10% down for quarter, and IGPs stayed constant at around 40%. The discrete drop is being attributed to inventory.

Interesting story in the Table of Contents headings, if you read carefully.

Must admit would like a bit more comprehensive explanation, the inventory one looks a touch suspicious as the sole explanation without a bit more supporting data.

Which one? There are so many.

Sorry you are right i meant the plural: "Interesting stories in the Table of Contents" but was typing faster than thinking...

Anyway transcribing:
Nvidia: Next up for Nvidia, more current (and perhaps previous) generation cost-reductions
AMD: Looking ahead for AMD: the Radeon HD 4900 series

Interesting nobody seems to have written an article based off the full report yet, only cut and pasted the press release.
