Because the old thread has slipped so much down, I decided make a new one.

on Tuesday I returned from my Norway trip and I made 2 new panoramas. ( http://www.kyamk.fi/~ohj8laka/pics2/panoramas/ ) Nowadays I use several tools to make these: usually I stitch the images on Panorama Factory or by hand on Photoshop with using lens distortion filter plugin. for noise cleaning I have found Neat Image 3.0 rather good and Photoshop is also used for level correction and cropping etc.

It's been a quite while I last posted here, so there might be other new ones on my site as well. There might be 3rd new one coming when my slide film gets processed.

They're really beautiful! The snowy forest and the river picture I liked in particular - good compostions and the panorma really helped give a feeling of scale.

Have you ever thought of making Quicktime3D versions so you can rotate them 360 degrees? Have a look at the World Wide Panorama project.

On Saturday, March 20, more than 180 photographers in 40 countries around the world celebrated the Equinox by creating VR panoramas. This site showcases the results of their efforts.

Really fascinating.

Quite nice. For those who are interested, I've also got a few "panoramas" taken whilst on a holiday in 2003 in some of the western states of the USA. The one in Zion canyon is almost 360degrees. They're only small because I can only upload with a 56k modem :( :)
