NV28 and NV18

According to some sheet this could be true, but the same sheet show that the NV25 has more than 80Mio transistors too; so this sheets seems to be wrong, or so bad to read that you cannot see if it is an "3"; "6" or "8" ( look at the NV17, NV18 and NV25(26?) and the NV28 and the NV30(or is it NV80?) ).

Maybe someone with the original sheets can clearify this.

You can find all the sheets here :

That slide has a lot of inconsistancies between 3s and 8s... if you zoom in you'll find the 3 in "NV30" is completely identical to the 8 in "NV28", and "NV18", however its also identical to the 3 in 31M transistors for the NV18. The 8s in NV28 and NV30 are completely different from the rest of the 8s on the page such as the transistor count for the "NV26?!"

D'oh!

OK, look at the supposed '8' in the 81 million transistors for NV18...looks a hell of a lot like the '3' in 23 million transistors for NV10. OTOH, it also looks exactly like like '8' in NV18. I'm gonna guess 31M for NV18. I'm not sure what can be done with 3 million transistors. I don't think shaders, at least. A lot was done with a mere 3 million increase from GF3 -> GF4, though, and 2 million from GF1 -> GF2. nVidia sure knows how to get the most out of those trannies.

To me, NV28 looks like it could be either 86 or 66 million...
