Meh, y'all just got real lucky and my son's best friend's mom called and begged me to come fix their 'puters for 'em....I guess they're the ones who are gonna have to deal with an insanely caffeine-crazed Dig.

Then again, fast as I'm moving right now I'll probably fix both their rigs in about 10 minutes flat...

You should get a percolator to make coffee in instead, or a bistro-thingy where you press down on a plunger filter thingy. I hear those make muuuuccchhh better coffee than a regular maker. I have a tea percolator and it is great (I don't drink coffee).

I have a coffee press, but it makes ONE cup of coffee...not worth the effort.

The party pot is a percolator that makes pretty good joe when I remember how much grounds to use.

But me Bunn was my favorite. I like the drip makers and this one was the home version of their industrial model and its big claim to fame was that it could brew a 10 cup pot of coffee in 2 minutes and 38 seconds flat. (And it could, I've timed it. )

Gotta get a new one, but I'll be surprised if my wife doesn't bring one home from work today just to use for tomorrow.

I drink tea.

I have a Chinese friend who brings me -the- best tea directly from China about every half a year. It contains more caffeïne than a regular cup of coffee, without making me shaky, and tastes great warm or cold, with or without sugar. It consists of small balls, that unfold into thin leaves when put into the water. This stuff is worth gold for me when I'm studying my exams.

HA! I was right, she did bring home a new cheapy drip maker to hold us over until we can go get another Bunn!

A Black&Decker VersaMaker with no bells and whistles, but it makes a good cup of coffee. 8)

Just fired up the second pot and am cheerfully listening to its happy gurgling.

Coffee=GOOD THING(tm)!!!!!
