the Nintendo Switch dev kit price is approximately 50,000 yen ($450).

Not more expensive than iOS app development considering you need a Mac and the developer program fee for iOS.

There are 2 kinds of devkits. I assume it's a cheaper one without extended debugging capabilities.

Looking at wii, maybe pretty easy? It have so much shovelware.

On the store? I don't really remember that much tbh, but it was a while ago. Obviously the shelves were stacked with crap, but that's true of the other consoles as well.
