need help finding infrared plate/panel: UK

i just want a simple IRDA back or frontplate to connect to this:

2 4 6
| |.|.|
|.|.|.|
1 3 5

1=nc
2=nc
3=vcc5
4=gnd
5=irrx
6=irrx

i'm led to believe this is pretty standard layout for the header but can i find something like a Belkin part for this?...

...not likely!:-
Maplin's site doesn't have anything afaics
i went to PCWorld and they only had greasy skin and spots ;)
EBuyer's site is a mess for searching. plus they are scum who tried to palm me off with someone else's RMA once - with stuff missing too!
i have a/c's with other online component firms but haven't looked yet
i was wondering if anyone has seen such a simple device?

tia for any suggestions

ps. i don't want an IR->USB device or anything. i have IR functionality built in and i want to use it

I've seen these being sold ... in my travels around the internet looking for something similar yet different. Try HTPC or home automation websites.

thx, when i first clicked the link it was looking promising but in the end no cigar :(
this is crazy
what do i have to do, make one myself?!

found this:
http://www.jdresearch.com/irdrive/
but that's a little expensive, and in the US

edit:
found some more, again in the US:
http://www.jdr.com/interact/item.asp?itemno=gr-baybeam
possibly consider a separate unit attached to a plate
http://www.altex.com/product_info.php?cPath=1_56&products_id=4368

edit2:
http://www.expansys.com/product.asp?code=106296
that's better but a front bay would have been nice, plus the pin config is rigid and wrong so i'd have to maul th thing anyway

perhaps it IS more of a DIY thing
