MSN trash can files wont empty.

hi, im having this weird problem with msn recently. somehow the files in my MSN 7.5 trash can wont empty. the trash can should be empty after 1day but the files from DEC 13th 2005 and later still arent deleted.i tried to manually empty them but to no prevail and always occurs an error. when i click the error it tells me "are you sure you wana permanently delete all the files..?" and i clicked ok. but the error repeats and files remained. i reinstalled msn but that didnt work either. please help me, the files in my trashcan is piling up, will they fill up my hd space? thanks.

now i found a way to delete them through outlook express. strange that seems to be only way of doing it.
