Fighting on maps in Mexico City is fine, but I'm really hoping UBI mixes things up with some Jungle maps with Mayan style architechture influence. Or at least releases some jungle maps in downloadable Tacticle Packs after the games intial release.
The contrast of the ancient Mayan civilization ruins mixing with the high-tech soldiers and equipment is fresh.
One of the producers was the lead programmer of Rayman and POD (one of the first games to take advantage of Intel's MMX instructions many years back). That gives me a boost of confidence the engine for GR will be top notch by being in such capable hands.
