MGS3 story speculation thread!

After watching E3-2003 MGS3 clip I am wondering about the story. Lets speculate about the story, and see who hits bull's eye (when MGS3 comes out).

If you guys remember in MGS1 (PS1), they mention that Snake faught with Big Boss (can't remember??) in Zanzibar before taking retirement (sort of) to Alaska. And Zanzibar is the capital (?) of Madagaskar Island (Africa), so could that be the story???

that was Metal Gear 2: Solid Snake for the MSX. this si likely one of those *when they were young* type of features. in other words there no snake in this title at all!!!

As if the whole story wasn't confusing enough... I still have trouble figuring out MGS2's story... The fact that i never really cared much might explain that, but hey...
