Is Angel finished?

The episode where the Black Thorn Circle were all assassinated is just finished.

Angel wanted to fight the dragon.

Please tell me this isn't the last episode?

Angel didn't start off as good as Buffy but became better with every episode and season.
Buffy just got worse as it went on.

I really like watching Angel.

There was a big fuss about this, quite rightly so. WB dropped it. And unless some other network picks it up, which aint gonna happen, it's over. For good.
They said there is a possibility for movie deals, but they always say that (this is true for Buffy, Sex&theCity etc etc) and that's not gonna happen either.

Yep. Methinks the Charmed ones had their way to keep the show up and running. There's not much Angel could do to convince the Execs. Unless I was one of the execs, which would have been a very different story......

Well, it DID happen with Star Trek...

Anyway, I never got into Angel (or Buffy either for that matter), but Charmed roxxors IMO.

Angel sucked balls in the last season. It had the best episodes of the whole series (Hole in the world in it's own class) but as a whole the last season was even worse than the first one. Worst thing is that the last season had so much potential but failed miserably.

Still the series was and is nice, though far away from Buffy's glory.

S5 of Buffy was the freak season, from a narrative perspective (it strayed from the same formula used in every other season).
