I dunno. Perhaps they didn't include Nintendo in some of the questions or maybe the show simply doesn't attract many Nintendo fans.

Keep in mind that Nintendo doesn't attend TGS which may reflect in the poll.

OK! But why?

They chose to tour around Japan to promote the Nintendo DS (a few months, in all major cities), which would be more efficient than just showing it at TGS (a few days, only Tokyo public).

I am asking why they "don't" attend TGS.

IIRC TGS was first held by the parent company of SEGA. Nintendo had Shoshinkai Exhibition for dealers and later Spaceworld for consumers, only for their own products. Even in today, Nintendo doesn't attend exhibitions with competitors, except for E3.

Nintendo does attend events with other exhibitors. They just happen to think TGS is irrelevant (which it pretty much is).

The shows that get the most priority from Nintendo are E3 and Games Convention.

Ah well, E3 and GC, sorry ;)
