It's where he opens the door and hangs out the side, right? Yeah, the view out the back/sides is pretty rotten on the Countach, but hell, it IS a damn bootiful car! The Diavolo was an ugly bitch sitting next to its predecessor, blech...

The banner adverts here have become obviously content oriented. Any thread with 'bush' or 'kerry' gets a political advert. The banner on my screen right now is 4 different lambourghini things.Simon F said:SPOOKY!!! I just got an advert banner that was actually relevant! It was advertising sports car insurance!
How could you say vipers suck then say a 3000 GT? It's a pig!!Lezmaka said:Vipers suck
Anyway, I'd probably go with a Mitsubishi 3000 GT VR4. It may not be the fastest, most expensive, best looking car, but it's still one of my favorites. Probably because my dad had one and I learned how to drive a stick (manual transmission) with it. It was great for road trips too, didn't matter if you're crusing down the highway at 95 mph in 6th gear @ 2200 rpm, or driving through the mountains in Colorado. 320hp, twin turbo, all wheel drive, all wheel steering, 18 inch chrome wheels. I miss that car
Other than that, I'd probably go for the new Ford GT.
Care to back up those claims?Saem said:I'm with Basic, the Volta is awesome. Personally, when it comes to these super cars, I'm all about the technology. The Viper, in this regard is probably the stupidest car ever, not to mention the handling sucks.

I"m sure I could get more than a few vipers owners to dispute the fact.
The problem is it's a street legal racecar, as such, it's setup for grip, not for noobs.

Wow man.. I envy you for owning a viperERP said:Actually if you ignore things like GT3's which are just racecars that you can buy and happen tobe street leglal, the GTS's were among the best handling stock supercars period. Stock they have a tendancy to understeer on corner entry more than I happen to like (as do almost all production cars), but you just have to learn to steer with your foot.
And please don't base handling on racing games, having driven a lot of fast cars and written more th a couple of racing games. Handing in real life really has little bearing on handling in a "sim", and that includes the hardcore sims. Even with perfect physics (which noone is even close to) it would be a radically different experience, because the interface can't convey what it's like to drive a car.

Yeah, you have to open the door, sit on the door sill and hang out the car. I suppose that only works if you park on the drivers side.
Didn't they also do a version of that car with a rear view LCD in the dash? Because of the engine, you had no rear view through the back window, so they put a camera in the back and a screen on the dash, and you could use it to park. I might be wrong and be thinking of some exotic Ferrari or something.
Electric motors are great for that low-end torque, aren't they? BTW did anyone see the electric Elise? That looked quite interesting.MuFu said:That Volta looks intriguing. Not sure about "no suprises though"; I bet it really kicks from 0-1mph!
