I just wish they'd die.

The thing that irritates me is that some websites NEED pop ups in order to work. Some messagine services open your "New Messages" on a new window, and it's happened many times that i've lost messages because the computer i was using had a stupid pop-up blocker.

In the end, if u hate pop-ups so much, just don't go to those sites that have them, stop supporting them and they'll go bust eventually.

Well, I would think that is hardly a realistic way of dealing with the problems.. I say get your guns and let's hunt us some damned javascript coders!! :devilish:

Well f*cking said. Pop-ups must be completely banned from the Internet. :devilish:

i have an easy solution to popups, ive never needed a popup blocker. this started with my MS Intelimouse Explorer (v1.0) and now extends to my Logitech MX500. They key is to have a mouse with an easily-usable thumb-button. All you have to do is set the a thumb button to "close" and whenever one of those things pops up it dies before it even has a chance to load. It's also useful because one of the middle buttons opens links in a new window in netscape, so navigation is much faster especially when couppled with the other thumb button being "back".
