GTA: Behind the Scenes

No fuel for the flame wars in these 2 articles, they're just long (comparatively speaking) and quite informative for anyone interested in some of the back-story behind GTA's development. They're mostly focused on the 3D iterations, with the 1st article briefly mentioning the early 2D counterparts, while primarily covering the inspirations and challenges of development for the GTAIII series. The 2nd article is entirely focused on the upcoming GTAIV, and includes some hands-on time along with a lot of explanation as to Rockstar North's goals for the title. The information in both features is derived from what appears to be a lengthy interview with Sam Houser, President of Rockstar Games.

Nice find, i am happy that the extra time they got seems to have been spendt not only on technical stuff but content as well..

The DLC stuff sounds very vague so either they have a grand plan or they still need to flesh it out.

Maybe i should watch the movie that is mentioned, Eastern Promises, Sam Houser thinks that his games character is a more real "Russian Gangster" than an Oscar Nominee , hype much?
