During the recent Game Developers Conference, Google announced a major update to its Google Play Games platform on PC. With this new expansion, a large number of Android games will be available by default to play on Windows, without the need for additional software.
Until now, users could only enjoy a limited catalog of games optimized for PCs. However, with this new strategy, Google aims to expand the mobile gaming ecosystem experience to the desktop environment.
More Android games are coming to PC from Google Play Games. The main new feature is that, from now on, Android games will be available on PC within the Google Play Games app. This means that the games that my 5 y.o. and 7 y.o. nephews play like Asphalt 9 -which has a PC native port on Steam, Asphalt Legends-, and other popular titles like Clash of Clans and Mobile Legends: Bang Bang can be played on both mobile and computer without any major issues.

Not only that, but Google is giving game developers access to the Vulkan API and the Android Dynamic Performance Framework (ADPF). This should allow new and existing games to take advantage of new graphical advancements and look better than ever before.
