GF FX demo videos now online

Nvidia can make some amazing top of the line video cards, but they sure have some sorry servers. Cant even see the 56k stream on my dsl.

I guess you have not had a chance to play BF42 on their servers, eh? Probably the best servers around :)

No, one thing Nvidia has is bandwidth...

ROOOOOOFFFFLLLL!

I'm still laughing, and I can't stop... I wish companies would do more of these things, but mostly they're just so cowardly PC... Hahaha! That's some seriously funny stuffs, thanks for the link!

*G*

Hehe, reminds me of when AMD silk-screened the Intel jingle onto one of their engineering sample mobos. :D

MuFu.

Makes me think that VisionTek got screwed by NVIDIA and there is some bitter feeling. Or simply an excellent marketing ploy thought up by some designer ad agency (or a student that was pissed one evening).

  That was hilarious... laughed out loud too. :D

I wonder if Nvidia employees are getting tired of this type of stuff. I guess the only way they can resolve it is to get their FX out.

When I went to interview with the marketing people at Nvidia (the ones that make the demos and examples), some (not all) of them were quite cocky, and I thought to myself,... this attitude will eventually bite them... no matter how good you think you are, there is always someone better.

Uh, isn't VisionTek pretty much nonexistant anyway?

I looked on the VisionTek site and found out that all of their cards were nVidia based. I thought "That's a pretty bold statement from a company that relies so heavily on nVidia". Then I was looking for a press announcement that would indicate what ATI GPU's they were going to be using. They haven't posted a press release since June. Then I remembered some talk awhile ago about them being horribly mismanaged and going down the tubes. Sure enough, it seems as though they're gone. So what's with the video? Are they being ressurected or just some ex-employee having some fun?

I'm pretty excited about what DX9 shaders can do. The ogre and fairy demos were pretty damn spiffy, if you ask me.
